What is the recline range of a dual-motor cinema seat?
The backrest motor in a dual-motor cinema seat provides a recline range from approximately 90 degrees (fully upright) to around 160 degrees (near-flat). The footrest motor operates independently, extending the leg rest from flush against the seat base to fully elevated. This separation is what distinguishes dual-motor from single-motor operation: with a single motor, the backrest and footrest are mechanically linked, so reclining the back automatically raises the legs.
The practical advantage shows up in everyday use. You might want legs elevated while sitting upright to read, or the backrest reclined with feet on the floor for a relaxed conversation. Dual-motor gives you every combination. At Delux Deco, dual-motor recline is available across all product tiers, from the Ultimate Luxury quad-motor Universal Ultimate down to entry-level cinema chairs. Side buttons or wireless remote control let you adjust both motors simultaneously or independently.
Can dual-motor cinema seats store memory positions?
Most dual-motor models in the Delux Deco range support programmable memory presets. You set the backrest and footrest to your preferred angles, press the memory button, and the seat saves that configuration. The next time you sit down, one button press returns both motors to your exact saved position — typically within a few seconds. In a household where multiple people share the same cinema room, each person can recall their own preset without manual readjustment.
Memory presets also extend to the quad-motor Universal Ultimate, which stores positions for all four zones: backrest, footrest, headrest, and lumbar. The preset data is held in the seat's onboard controller, so it persists through power cycles. If you add LED ambient lighting or massage features, those settings are managed through separate controls but can be activated alongside the positional presets for a fully personalised start-up sequence.
Is dual-motor recline available in every Delux Deco model?
Dual-motor recline is available across every product tier at Delux Deco, including Premium, Super Premium, and Ultimate Luxury cinema seating. The motor mechanism itself is the same at each tier — two independent motors rated for tens of thousands of cycles. What changes between tiers is the surrounding feature set: Premium seats pair dual-motor with essential comfort features, Super Premium adds LED lighting and USB charging, and Ultimate Luxury adds quad-motor adjustment, massage, chilled cupholders, and touch panel controls.
For cinema sofas, dual-motor recline is standard on most configurations. Each seat on a sofa operates its own independent motors, so a 3-seat cinema sofa contains six motors total.
