How much does a recliner sofa cost?

Electric or manual recline?
Manual recliners work with a lever or by pushing back against the backrest. They're cheaper and there's nothing to plug in — and that is roughly where the advantages end. You get two or three fixed positions, the mechanism needs real force (a problem for older users, and for anyone holding a drink), and the snap of a manual latch is exactly the sound you don't want during a film.

Leather, fabric or velvet?

Sizes and configurations: from 2-seater to corner sofa
The most common sizing mistake with any recliner sofa is measuring it upright. A reclining seat needs significantly more depth with the backrest down and the footrest up, plus clearance behind the backrest so it doesn't hit the wall. Always plan with the reclined dimensions from the product page.
A 2 seater recliner sofa is the compact option: two full electric seats for apartments, snugs and second sitting rooms, and the cheapest to deliver (class P1, €210). 5 common mistakes when buying a recliner sofa
1. Measuring the sofa upright. The single most common error. A reclined seat needs more depth, plus wall clearance behind it. If the room plan only works with the sofa upright, the room plan doesn't work. Use reclined dimensions — or let us draw the free 2D plan.
2. Judging by price alone. A suspiciously cheap recliner sofa saves money in the two places you can't see: the frame and the mechanism. Ask what the frame is made of and how long it's guaranteed.
